I bought my first chevy truck in 2005 when i was serving in the military at Fort Hood, Tx altho i dont have a pic of that truck i have pictures of my current chevy. It is a 1977 cheverolet scottsdale 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive truck with the 305 V-8 engine. When i bought it in 2005 it had 68,031 orginal miles on it. Since then i have put about 2k miles on it and some pep to it. I have the Hedmann Headers on flexplate exhaust gaskets. It has true duals running with magnflow magna packs dumped before the axels. The tires on the truck now are 33" ATP all terrain tires with Z racing rims in the front and steel rims on the back. Edlebrock 14" air cleaner with edlebrock chrome valve covers nicely accentuate the block. it has massive rust problems and other issue's as well but its my project under construction.

Update - As of monday the truck suffered some setbacks due to playing in the mud. Left rear tire hit a concrete block and suffered a sidewall puncture. The front suspension gave out and is now being currently replaced with 4 rancho shocks up front. I'll be getting the 33" cooper dominator series tires all the way around over the next 2 months. Brakes are going to get replaced as well as the ebrake. Hopefully I"ll be putting my Buddy's 1990 blazer 4x4  on the page.

UPDATE as of last night 07/16/06 the truck suffered serious setbacks. The carb caught on fire last night and the ensueing fire pretty much wiped out the top part of the engine, wires and lines were burnt pretty bad. The air filter is non existence due to the fire, the carb itself is non useable as is the intake for it. The hood was burned pretty good and there are now spots on it where the bare metal is showing. The plug wires and distributor look ok but wont know till i pull them out and inspect them. The rest of the truck is ok as the fire was pretty much contained in the engine compartment. I dont know much more at this point will keep ya updated with new info as i start to work on it.

January 21st. -  My buddy with the blazer broke his rear axel not too long ago. The suburban also blew the transmission. The 77 still needs a top end, but things are coming together. My buddy upgraded and now has a 3/4 ton rear axel on the back. I will soon have another transmission. Come springtime I will be repairing both chevy's and hopefully even get my 82 silverado back to Colorado.
